My Vintage Baby

I believe I’ve mentioned on this site more than once that I am a sucker for anything vintage, yes? We have several outfits in Danger’s closet that are vintage, many from my own babyhood. Her bedding is from my childhood, too! {Don’t worry – you’ll see all of this once I finish her room next week!} It should come as no surprise, then, that I would also be a fan of clothing that only looks vintage. This sweater, for example:

We went thrift shopping in Duluth this past Sunday, and found this adorable sweater for 4 bucks. We just could not resist bringing it home with us. We also bought the skinny jeans she’s wearing for 4 bucks. It’s not often that we find jeans that fit her perfectly. These are Old Navy, size 18-24 months, and they were just made for little Danger! Ok, that’s all nice, but back to the vintage part…

I love to crochet, and I think that the end product looks very vintage. Her bow, for example, is crochet. {Yes, I did make that.} I thought that it added a nice touch to the ensemble that Danger is sporting here.

What kinds of styles do you think of when you hear the word ‘vintage’? Do you have any vintage clothing in your closets? I would love to have more! Have an awesome Wednesday, friends! Please feel free to link up your Wordless Wednesday or other Wednesday posts below! 🙂 Don’t forget to enter the North American Bear Co. giveaway!
