Zubels Review

As parents, we have to make countless decisions about what to feed our children, what to clothe them in, and the products that clean and sanitize our world. One guideline that I try to follow is that whenever possible, I choose the eco-friendly route. This usually means that I have less money than many of my other friends, but it also means that my daughter might have a little less crud in her system than the average American child.

With Zubels handknit toys, I have the peace of mind to let my daughter play with her sweet toys – which basically consists of gnawing on, snuggling with, and toting around her most beloved toys – while still maintaining a sense of financial happiness. Zubels toys are very reasonably priced (read: starting under $15!) yet they are of excellent quality.

The characters are pretty adorable, too. My daughter received Tangerine the Clown for review. This charming clown is about seven inches tall and fits nicely in her tiny two-year-old hands – which is perfect, because she wants to take him everywhere! He is very soft, and has held up beautifully to the constant smooshing and chewing that is expected of a toddler’s playtime. Tangerine is still in great condition, even after being washed!

Some other favorite Zubels of ours: Honey the Hippo, Leggy Lily the Flamingo, and Nibbles the Vegetarian (featured previously in Parent’s magazine!) Which Zubels toy is your favorite?

The cost, quality and personality of Zubels have truly impressed me, and I do plan to add some more to my daughter’s handknit toy collection. Zubels make great gifts for baby showers or birthdays. I have lots of friends that are pregnant right now, and I already know what I’m getting them! 😉

You can find Zubels on facebook or at a retail location near you!

Zubels provided me with a Tangerine the Clown sample for review. I was not expected to write a positive review of the product, but simply to document my experiences with the toy. All opinions are my own.
