“Summer is the time when one sheds one’s tensions with one’s clothes, and the right kind of day is jeweled balm for the battered spirit. A few of those days and you can become drunk with the belief that all’s right with the world.”
— Ada Louise Huxtable
Sometimes I think that I am quite fortunate to live in the big city of Atlanta. There’s always something to do, including many things that do not cost a single cent.
We recently discovered a brand new splash park in the area (thanks to our best friend Mr. Mo.) It has lots of activities for children to enjoy and provides a generous breeze to those of us that prefer to sit on the sidelines and watch. It truly is my new favorite place to visit on hot summery days. And did I mention that it is free?
