Spring is the season for simple pleasures. After spending so much time indoors during the winter, spring is the time where we shed our layers and add a little sunshine back into our lives. Whether we are at the splash park, hiking up Stone Mountain, or just hanging out in our own backyard, my family and I find ways to make every day special.
One of the ways that we do this is by adding little treats to our everyday menu. For my daughter, that could mean adding a few chocolate chips to her cereal o’s or rinsing off some seasonal fruits for a fresh and tasty dessert.
While we enjoy COOL WHIP Whipped Topping year-round in many different recipes and concoctions, during the spring I like the simplicity of a simple fruit platter with a nice scoop of COOL WHIP. The weather is just too perfect, and I don’t like to spend too much time indoors preparing elaborate meals and desserts when it is so beautiful outside!
Fruit And COOL WHIP Platter
Fresh, seasonal fruits pair nicely with COOL WHIP Whipped Topping. Some of my favorite fruits to dip into COOL WHIP are strawberries, grapes, watermelon, peaches, bananas, blueberries, and blackberries. While there are certainly many more fruits that taste even better dipped into topping, I do have my favorites.
I’m not exactly the best chef in the world. Some days I even have trouble boiling noodles on the stovetop! With COOL WHIP topping, I don’t have to do a lot of work to make tasty desserts. All it takes is a container of topping, a spoon, and your choice of washed fruits. Pretty easy, right?
With COOL WHIP, our snacks are transformed from ordinary to extraordinary in just a few seconds. Not only is COOL WHIP a delicious addition to most dessert dishes, but it can also be very fun! I especially enjoy the simple pleasure of being able to coat a strawberry in just the right amount of COOL WHIP before popping it into my mouth.
What are some of your favorite recipes that include COOL WHIP?
