The Other Side Of The World

While my daughter and I are enjoying some quality time with our extended family in North Georgia, Handsome Husband is hard at work on the other side of the world. That’s right – he’s in India for a MONTH!

I’m sure that after this month is over, I will be an expert in long-distance parent/child communication. Expect a blog post on that at some point. hehe

Here are some pictures that he sent us of his office’s blessing ceremony:

Have you ever had to deal with a long-distance relationship?

  1. Not recently. I’ve just had to do a couple days here or’s tough. You are lucky to have family to stay with.

I had to do this our entire first three years of marriage; my son was almost two when we moved to our current duty station. It is hard! But it is much better when you know when he’s leaving and for how long he will gone, get the “countdown until daddy comes home” going. 😉 I hope your month went well! And that you had your still had your sanity at the end of it!
