A Perfect Fall Day

When you consider the makings of a perfect fall day, what do you think of first? For me, it’s having the opportunity to make memories outdoors with my husband and daughter. Summer was nice, but let’s all agree – the hot sun, humid air, and rampant insects cannot hold a pumpkin-scented candle to the beauty of fall!

Fall is the season of crisp breezes (an excuse to cuddle), warm colors, deliciously spiced treats, and lest we forget: Thanksgiving. It’s the time for pumpkin festivals and Halloween costumes and collecting colorful leaves in a book. Fall is… …a time for clutching treats and Daddy’s heart at the same moment…
…a time for the perfect backdrop with little interference from Man…

…a time for searching and traveling in style…

…and a time for having fun in the great outdoors!

While sometimes I think that life could not get any more amazing than experiencing that one perfect fall day, I am reminded that there is always another opportunity to create even more magic with my daughter at my side. And life is good.

Last weekend, we visited the 10th Annual Pumpkin Festival at Stone Mountain Park. It was lovely, quaint, and full of snuggly, giggly autumn activities. I don’t think I’ve ever been more enamored with my sweet little family. If you haven’t already, make sure to enter to win four passes to the Pumpkin Festival! Happy Autumn 😉
