Graco has been a trusted brand of child-centered products for over 60 years, and with the release of the new SnugRide Click Connect 40 car seat, it’s no surprise that Graco has maintained the level of excellence that they are known and loved for.
I recently had the opportunity to meet up with some fellow bloggers and learn more about Graco SnugRide® Click Connect™ 40 – the only car seat that allows for baby to be rear-facing for the recommended two years. Hosted by local blogger Meghan Cooper of JaMonkey and attended by some of my favorite local bloggers, it was an evening of discussion, delicious food (thanks again to TGIFridays!) and new friendships.
Perhaps best of all was that I got to spend the evening surrounded by cute new babies! Any event where mom is encouraged to not only bring the baby but also to tweet/facebook/instagram is alright with me. 🙂
(I’m the one in plaid on the far right. Hellllo!)
Here are a few of the things that I learned from attending the #GracoSafety event:
The American Academy of Pediatricians has changed the recommendations for child car safety, and it is so important to keep on top of these new guidelines to keep the little ones safe. Did you know that babies are now supposed to ride rear-facing for two years, or until they reach the maximum height/weight for their car seat?
Things have changed so much since my toddler was born a few years ago! After learning about the reasons behind the new recommendations, I am even more grateful that we were not involved in a car accident!
The SnugRide Click Connect 40 is the ONLY newborn to 2 year infant car seat on the market. It provides comfort and protection for babies from 4 – 40 pounds and has been rigorously crash tested to meet or exceed U.S. safety standards.
This car seat also grows with your baby, ensuring a proper fit for the first two years. The SnugRide Click Connect 40 comes equipped with an adjustable base with eight reclining positions to provide ample leg room for those wiggly baby legs. It also has a one hand height-adjustable head rest with NO need to rethread the straps!
Comfort for baby and convenient for mom?! Graco has you covered! But there’s more…
The Graco SnugRide Click Connect 40 offers a LATCH-equipped stay-in-car base and an integrated seatbelt lock-off, making installation a breeze. The easy-to-read level indicator eliminates installation guesswork for a secure baby and happy mom. But don’t just take my word for it. Watch how easy it is to install the Graco SnugRide Click Connect 40!
Keep in mind: When installing ANY car seat, it is important to make sure the seat can not move more than 1 inch in any direction.
Meghan, our host from JaMonkey, demonstrated just how easy it was to adjust and install the Graco SnugRide Click Connect 40 by pointing out all of the convenient features:
The Graco SnugRide Click Connect 40 comes in two beautiful patterns – Mena™ and Moonstruck™. The Mena™ pattern is a lovely brown, beige, and pink floral that is just perfect for your little princess, while the Moonstruck™ pattern offers several beautiful shades of brown, with swirl design and green accents.
Pictured here is the Graco SnugRide Click Connect 40 in the Moonstruck™ pattern:
The SnugRide Click Connect 40 car seat offers a one-step secure attachment to Click Connect Strollers, also available in the Mena™ and Moonstruck™ patterns. You can mix and match to suit your lifestyle (sport or leisure) or your whimsy.
The Graco SnugRide Click Connect 40 is only available at Babies”R”Us, and can be purchased for $219.99 online or in-store. To learn more, visit the Graco SnugRide® Click Connect™ 40 online.
The Graco SnugRide® Click Connect™ 40 – the first and only newborn to two-year infant car seat that actually grows with your baby from four pounds all the way up to 40 pounds. The car seat is designed for a parent on the go. The infant car seat can be easily removed from the base and used as a carrier when the infant is small, providing portability and convenience so you can easily move your infant in and out of the car without disturbing them.
The American Academy of Pediatrics recently made the recommendation to keep all children in rear-facing car seats until the age of 2. Graco set out to make this product so parents can keep infants rear facing longer while still keeping them comfortable.
