Downtown Disney: Free Fun For All! #ww

Downtown Disney offers fun, diversity, and a little bit of Disney magic around every corner. We recently visited this famous Florida attraction during our trip to Kissimmee. While it was hard to narrow down my favorite pictures and memories, here are just a few of the things to look forward to at Downtown Disney:

… Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. A girl can dream, right? While it is not free to get made up like a favorite Disney princess, it is fun to walk around and check out all of the merchandise inside the World of Disney Store. And who knows? You might just get pixie dusted by a cast member! 😉

… Dresses made up of Disney Princess dolls? Where can I get mine?! We loved to see these creations at the World of Disney store at Downtown Disney.

… Just outside the World of Disney store are princesses at the ready for a photo opportunity. Danger posed with Aurora and Cinderella, and I was very pleased that she had the opportunity to do this in preparation for meeting the actual castmembers portraying these characters at Disney’s Magic Kingdom!

… While Florida is very mild in late January, the evenings can provide just enough chill to require daddy-daughter snuggles. We walked around Downtown Disney, listening to street performers and taking in the lights and Disney magic all around.

… Hot Air Balloon rides take guests up and over Downtown Disney and the lake. While we weren’t able to make the lift this time around, I hope to do it when Danger is a little bigger! It looked like so much fun!

… We met new Friends at the LEGO store at Downtown Disney. In this store, children can build with loose LEGO bricks, and even create a take-home, fully personalized LEGO figure (for a small fee). There are amazing LEGO displays all around the shop, including one of Snow White and Maleficent in dragon form. So much to see and do!

… Danger even got pixie dusted at the World of Disney store (for FREE!) We were just browsing around, hoping to catch a glimpse of the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at the  back of the store, when a cast member approached us and asked if it was alright to dust Danger. She LOVED it, and felt just like a little princess!

At Downtown Disney, there are wonderful little shops, street performers, and fine dining options, making it a one-stop Disney destination.

Parking is free. Entrance is free. The memories are priceless.

What is your favorite spot to visit at Downtown Disney?
